Graphic Design Projects

This is from a Typography class. The assignment was to create an "original" typeface. My typeface is called "Reduction". It is based off of horizontal lines that create the shape of the letter.

For this next series of images, the goal was to take the above poster, done by Jan Tschichold, and redesign it in the the style of three other designers. I chose to redesign it in the style of David Carson, Stefan Sagmeister, and Chip Kidd.

The goal of this project was to take a dance of some sort, and design a poster for it. I am not the biggest fan of dance or ballet, so I decided to take the production of Romeo & Juliet and re-imagine it.

In this project I took a hand made flyer and redesigned, then I make several deliverables for it. I made 3 concert tickets, 3 cd's, and also a brochure about the club. It is all housed inside of a boxset.

These next images are from a chapbook I made called Next Year. It deals with me being a Minnesota Vikings fan. It was interesting going back over the events that make up this book.

In this book, the topic was illegal downloading. It was a semester long project. The end result was a book that I called iSteal. Much like Next Year, this one was filled with ups and downs.
